i lift weights almost every other day and swim for cardio. im 16 years old. i weigh 136 pounds. im 5'8" and have 13% body fat. whats the maximum pound of lean muscle i can build in 3 months. and what do you recommend i also do to help me a lot more. thnx alot

I just started swimming every week a year ago and noticed a difference in my body. I'm not sure how to ask this…i wanted to lose 10lbs…i lost 5lbs, but put back on 4lbs…i'm not sure what percentage of this is lean muscle…how do you determine if the weight is muscle or fat?

How to gain lean muscle without losing body fat?

I'm an 18 year old male, 5'8, and i weight about 150 pounds. I work out with 10-20 pounds dumb bells with calastetics 3-4 times out of 7 days and do cardio 2-3 times out of 7 days.

My question is how can i gain about 5-10 pounds of lean muscle without gaining too much body fat? Should i keep the cardio going while i try to gain the weight?
